Painter Rune Olsson used several blues and greens to create this Springtime coastal scene. He adds depth by subtly alternating thinner and thicker layers of paint.
The original painting is surface cleaned and comes with a complementary, well-suited vintage wooden/silver frame. Both painting and frame may show some age-related wear and tear, which largely contributes to their charm. The best way to see this is through the photos, so study them because they form the description.

About the artist:
Rune Olsson (1932-2015) studied at the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. He was employed by the United Nations for ten years as an expert in arts and crafts in Africa and Asia. This gave him the opportunity to exhibit his works around the world. He held solo exhibitions in Sweden, Tanzania, Cyprus, Spain, Germany and is represented in France, Germany, England, New Zealand, Australia, Spain and the United States.
