Painter Kaj Engström (b. 1948) sat on a rock on the beach as the sun went down to capture all the colors of the sky and the sea, using pinks, yellows, blues and grays drawing he viewers attention to the different shapes of the rocks by adding extra detail.

Kaj Engström studied at the Forum School of Painting and the Forum School of Printmaking in Malmö. Since then, he has worked and lived in Småland.
