Swedish painter Olja Börje Nilsson-Hugo (1913-1987) went outside on a moonlit night in 1948 to capture this serene full moon scene, using firm vertical and diagonal brushstrokes, in a typical mid-century expressionistmanner.
The painting is cleaned and the complementary wood frame is restored and updated. Both painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
