Expressionist vintage oil painting of some fresh herring in a piece of paper on a table. Oil on canvas, signed.
Rustic and charming painting of a every day scene: fresh fish from the market! The fish are painted realistically, with light blues and grays depicting their shiny silvery skin. However, the table and surroundings are painted more loosely.
The painting is surface cleaned and comes with a complementary, well-suited vintage wooden. Both painting and frame may show some age-related wear and tear, which largely contributes to their charm. The best way to see this is through the photos, so study them because they form the description.
Size: 52 x 62 cm (with frame)
