Artist Elisabeth Brunnström (1908-1988) encountered this everyday scene at one of the beaches in het native region Halland (Sweden) and created this painting with confident and quick brushstrokes, and some display of of impasto.
The painting is surface cleaned and comes with a complementary, well-suited and restored silver vintage wood frame. Both painting and frame may show some age-related wear and tear, which largely contributes to their charm.
