Charming, small oil painting of two blossoming trees and a farm. Oil on panel, signed.
‘Blossoming Trees’ reveals a style that is not full Impressionism, but more a simplified, quietly stylised figuration. The depiction of the tree focuses on clear contours and a balanced composition, capturing the essence of a blossoming tree rather than a photographic likeness. A deliberately narrow palette of only four colors gives the work its quiet, understated character.
The painting is cleaned and comes with a complementary silver/wooden frame. Both painting and frame are in good vintage condition but may show some age-related wear and tear, which largely contributes to its charm. The best way to see this is through the photos, so study them because they form the description.
Size: 21 x 28 cm (with frame)
