A midcentury original painting representing a group of houses by the beach. Oil on canvas, signed and dated (1954).
Female painter Inga Larsson created an atmospheric coastal scene with pastel colored houses on the edge of the beach. With only a few well placed brush strokes, she combines warm ochre and yellow tones with cool blues and grays for the shadows and the sky.
The painting is surface cleaned and comes with a complementary, well-suited vintage wood frame. Both painting and frame show some age-related wear and tear, which largely contributes to their charm. The best way to see this is through the photos, so study them because they form the description.
Size: 76 x 67 cm (with frame)
