Abstract 1950’s painting in blues, purples, grays and some green. Oil on panel, signed.
This canvas reduces a harbor town to flat, deliberate blocks of color: deep purple roofs, chalk-white sails, red and black lines binding facades and masts together. Hultcrantz builds the scene through rhythm rather than perspective — vertical bands on the left read as a row of warehouses or houses, triangles on the right as sails against a taut blue sky.
The painting is cleaned and comes with a complementary, well-suited vintage wooden frame. Both painting and frame are in great vintage condition
Size: 40 x 32 cm (with frame)
